i was calling for hoge to get a drive or two at halftime of UU game. not bench tanner just TRY something new. same reason i was calling for tanner to play during UCLA game (ironically also game 3) of 2016. you could have TRIED tanner without "benching" taysom. if it works, great. if it doesn't...you lose NOTHING. we can't score anyway.

given the fact that the read-options were some of our best plays all night it's conceivable it might actually be a good wrinkle. esp once ty tweaked O in game 4 (taysom had 100+ yards rushing in WVU game and we scored a bunch) and had similar results last year.
