HS gyms has hurt perceptions and fan interest is weaker - at least
speaking for myself - getting up for a road game at LMU or San Diego is pretty hard. I donht' even bother most of the time.
WAC and MWC has similar issues, but had a lot of great large school matchups....

You have to take the statement in context. The context is competing with P5 schools as an independent is not sustainable
