If getting pummeled in September against a bunch of teams we all would like to think we belong with, going into October with a bunch of injuries, and then going on a roll against bad teams in November in front of a half full LES before playing in a mediocre bowl game is your thing, Indy is great. At least we can say we aren't G5! Am I right?
In my opinion the fan base would get some life breathed back into it by joining the AAC with Boise and starting to compete for NY6 games. It would be a better (and simultaneously more winnable) schedule, beginning to end, and after a loss or two in September the sky wouldn't be falling every year.
But I'm a defeatist because I see the writing on the wall about Independence and our non-existent aspirations to the P5.
