Conferences as presently constituted are very valuable
I agree. Why? Because those conferences contain Clemson, and Florida, and Florida State, and Alabama, and LSU, and Oklahoma, and Texas, and USC. They are not valuable simply because they are a conference. No one cares about Washington State, and no one (relatively) subscribes to a college football broadcast service in the future for complete and total coverage of Washington State.
