There are many G5 schools, including UCONN, Cinci, Boise, etc that have the "P5"
label for scheduling purposes. There is no reason to think that would go away for us.
Also, we would only need to fill 4 OOC games each year so even if, say, the SEC didn't consider us a P5 we would have no problem getting the required games against good teams, with how well we travel.

You have to take the statement in context. The context is competing with P5 schools as an independent is not sustainable
