I love BYU football. That's why it's killing me to see it withering like this. I've lost what little faith I ever had in Detmer. I think Tuiaki is a stud. I think Lamb hiring was brilliant. (I also think Anae was excellent and underappreciated, just like Norm Chow was.)

I hold our hope Sitake can figure this out. His selection of the next OC will say a lot about his ability to lead the team long term. People forget that what made Lavell great for so many years wasn't his xs and os, but his ability to find and develop coaching talent. I hold out hope Sitake can become that guy.
