To me it looks like BYU has had a slight dip in recruiting rankings since going independent, but that could easily be explained due to them not having as much success in those years compared to all the 10+win seasons they had from 2006-2009 (affecting the '07-'10 recruiting classes). Boise, on the other had, has had quite a significant jump in their recruiting rankings - and I'm sure that's largely to do with them being in the MWC now instead of the WAC. I think that's a bigger factor in the change than BYU's Independence.
