The Montana-Young years were their golden age and heyday. They won 5 Super Bowls and made the playoffs almost every year. It's very similar to the Patriots current run which started back in 2001. Now they're one of the sorriest franchises in the league and a shell of their former selves. They've devolved into the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFC.
