and if Fox, ESPN...will be critical players at that time. Will $$$ be paid for specific programs rather than entire conferences...the blue bloods won't take a pay cut (and will demand a raise) so the balance of each conference's schools will have to take a pay cut without a thing they can do about it.
I don't know where that leaves BYU - somewhere in the middle I suppose but it won't be new to us and we will still be attractive with national fanbase, bigger than all but the blue bloods of college football.
It's a long way off (2024ish) and anything can happen or change direction...but you better bring value that moved the needle or be prepared for a pay cut.
