Is Indy making our programs better? Are we competing at a higher level
across all sports because of Indy? Is our Football team more recognizable now than it was before? Is our basketball program more recognizable now than it was before? Has our end of season rankings got better or worse? Are our recruiting class rankings better or worse? Is attendance at home games better or worse? Is attendance at road games better or worse? Are our relationships with other schools better or worse? Are our championships better or worse? Is our overall product better now than it was pre-Indy across all sports most notably Football and basketball because of Indy?

What are some of the answers to the above questions? Because if the answers are more "No" or "the same," then I think there is a legitimate reason to question the course we have taken. We all know we are getting extra cash as an indy, but can that really be the only reason to remain Indy, is it so much more money that we are slave to it?

And lastly, why do many of you say that a return to a G5 kills our chance at a P5 come the next re-structure? We will always be the same BYU in Provo, competing at our best whether or not we have a conference or we don't. That argument makes no sense to me. We aren't fooling the powers that be. They know our strengths and shortcomings just the same.
