I *LOVE* college football more than I love 80% of my relatives... but I just read this article, and it made me think.

Is it worth it?

I know that you can die doing anything. (I fell through a manhole six years ago- broke my rib.) Freak accidents happen all the time. But we all have to acknowledge that football IS a very violent, gritty sport.

I will still be watching- and loving every second of it. I will, however, think twice about ever letting my boys play.
