Ok, IS USC really good second half team, or a really lucky team, or a real contender or just a pretender?

struggles against Western Michigan in the opener ... but it's the opener so it doesn't really mean anything, right....

Looked pretty good against Stanford ... so everything is fine right?

Had to go to overtime to beat a Texas team that got killed by Maryland ... so is this a trend or what?

Close game against Cal for most of the game before a rash of turnovers doomed Cal .... but that is a lot a games to struggle with as a top 5 team.

Can they keep living on the edge, letting teams hang around, but always pull off the last second (or at least fourth quarter) win?
