Nope. Not me. I live in Utah and haven't stepped foot in a chapel in 21 years...
I'm supposed to be a Yewt, right? Every year (it seems) I get really frustrated and negative about BYU's poor performance after a game, and claim that I'm switching to where I belong (in Yewtville). My wife tells me, "you say that every year". So what? I'm a fanatic and I get emotional. We all express it in different ways. I definitely have another team I could cheer for. But I don't. I actually root for Utah when they're not playing BYU, but I don't follow them, and rarely watch their games. I can only name four or five players on their roster (Hundley, Williams, Hansen and Carrington... Oh, and that Lotul-something-or-other guy). I don't know who the Yewts are recruiting, or anything else going on in their universe. But they are a team I "know of", that I could easily switch allegiance to. I just don't. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't. I'd bash my head on the mirror and watch the blue drainage, and it would be that reminder as to why I couldn't switch.
