1) staying in a dark bedroom for extended periods of time is WORSE for you than going back to everyday activities. Whatever doctor told that little girl's parents to do that was off his rocker.

2) Flag football is the best option until high school. The kids learn the skills better, it's more fun, it's less expensive, and it's safer. I'm not saying this to rail you, but to remind myself and others about the value of flag football.
