Independence might be the worst path to the playoff. We dont have a championship
game to use as a 13th data point. (Big12 thought that was a really big deal)
Our strength of schedules are about the same as the good G5 teams and not even on the same planet as the good P5 teams.
Emphasis is put on being a conference champion. We can’t be a conference champion.
That doesn’t even factor that we have to frontload our schedules and keep getting 2 for 1 and 1 for 0 agreements. That sets up for losing.
Its really hard to get to the playoffs as g5. It might be even less likely to get there as a mid major Indy.
