..of sub-par performances then yes, you should re-evaluate the decision to go independent.  I'm not saying the MWC is the only way to go, but get into a conference if for nothing else, to solve the scheduling problem.  Despite what so many people say, games against P-5 teams are not exciting when you get killed and basically beat the teams that are either down that year or in the bottom teir of their conference.  Is it fun to watch BYU play Michigan in Michigan (I was there and it was not)?  Is it fun to watch them play LSU or Wisconsin this year?  I get it, that it is nice to see them beat Nebraska and Michigan State and to beat up on those Texas teams, but just remember those were down teams and masked a lot of problems this program has.  Over the past 6 years of independence the program has produced less wins, not more.
