Taysom spent the first 7 months of Ty’s tenure rehabbing, and it was his third freaking offensive system in college. Of course he wasn’t going to be a world-beater. Plus, he didn’t trust his OL and wouldn’t pull the trigger on open downfield throws as often as they were available, both of which were much more about the personnel (including himself) than the system.

His performance last year was not an indictment of the system.
