Broadcast landscape has entirely changed since then.
BSU is the obvious comparision, and I think it is clear BYU would garner MORE exposure as a G5 than BSU does.
BSU is as "exposed" in the MWC as BYU is as an independent. There is no "The Mtn." Good G5 programs play on exactly the same channels as BYU does, as often as BYU does.
The exposure argument changed at almost exactly the same time BYU went independent.
