I'm just saying that it gives me more comfort than if he were to have said that he wasn't learning new things on the fly and was just going to continue pounding on that peg that won't fit into the hole.
I agree that neither is great.

But the reality is that we all know the offense has been bad. So coming at it from the perspective of what's being done about that - I'm more comforted with the thought that they're learning and working to find something their players will be successful at than I would be if they insisted what they were doing was going to work eventually.
