I am now 76 and reluctant to post because there are too many mean spirited flamers on CB. I have lived in the Philadelphia suburbs for the past 12 Years after 23 Years in Hawaii. After one bad year Andy Reid was forced out only to redeem himself at KC. In Hawaii I was neighbors with the Anae family and knew many of the athletes from the islands. These are good families with strong faith. I saw Coach McBride come to Hawaii and starting to make inroads by visiting Polynesian families. Utah continues to benefit from this pipeline. We were spoiled by the Edwards era.
Our present coaches are inexperienced. Detmer recognizes the steep learning curve. This is OJT and will shake out. The tough front end schedule has exposed our weaknesses but hopefully we can improve on the mental and physical aspects of the game. We all expected more from Mangum and our defense, which is not tackling. Attack!
