3rd generation, grandpa, then mom (lived in Garden Grove, CA), but my love was
cemented when I played catcher as a little leaguer for the Dodgers and Piazza was the best big league catcher, playing for the Dodgers. I played for the Royals as a 9-10 year old and then Dodgers 11-12 and have only owned Dodger hats since. I’ve got a bunch of them now.
My mom planted the seed though, putting me in Dodger gear as a little tyke but my younger brother was the same and he ended up an Angels/Yankees fan. I was born and raised in Orem.
