doesn't ignore simply over disagreement, nor do i. But, you are right. Especially in the political category, people attack viciously over differing views, which is why i limit my activity there and most other categories save basketball and business.

But, dilbert, like all of us do from time to time, is projecting his own perspective onto CBers generally.

i think the rules are such now that the name calling and derision have declined. i know it continues on FO because i hear about it. But who cares?

i appreciate this change and wish it went further, i.e that the most ill mannered critics were blocked from seeing my stuff. I do find the negatives unpleasant enough to inhibit me, or i'd be posting more stuff which i think the majority would find interesting.

But if it turns out in practice that this change reduces the nastiness, i will be adding blocks.
