Can't believe we came out with a freshman QB in his second start and had him throw 45 times - and only gave the ball 11 times to the RB who is coming off a 24 carry 200+ yards game. The first three plays of the game were all passes. I don't understand it. I also don't understand Sitake complaining about it in the post game, as though he had no idea, no input, and was totally taken by surprise. What exactly is Sitake doing all week so that he is so clueless about the game plan that he is surprised at what his coaches are doing? Also, I thought Sitake wanted BYU to be more aggressive? Then, before the half, with the ball on the UMass side of the field, instead of going for it on 4th and seven (I think that's correct), he chose to punt. Just surprised me a bit.
