I've had a chance to collect my emotions since the game yesterday and here are my thoughts:
- We scored a Lot 3 pass and had a REALLY good parking spot. It was George Costanza good, seriously. I should have taken a photo.
- The meat calzones sold in the south endzone are surprisingly good. I mean, really, the crust is spectacular and the whole experience far exceeded my expectations.
- I'll do a better job next season of judging how many napkins I need.
- I sat next to a couple who are on a diet so they only bought the kettle corn, but they mowed through the whole bag in less than a quarter.
- I got the bottomless drink but only refilled it twice. I vow to study in the off-season to figure out how to do better. I feel like there are definitely optimizations that can be made.
- The family who had to walk past us to get in and out of their seats every time one of their kids needed a diaper change kept apologizing profusely every time they made me stand up so they could get by but it's not like I was tired from standing all game so it was really no big deal.
- There's something off with the flavor of the Diet Coke sold at the games and I'm beginning to think it's actually Caffeine-Free Diet Coke.
- I wish our mascot was the Panther so that I could buy a Panther-tail with chocolate frosting instead of maple. Maple is the worst.
- It was cold enough that I could see my breath but the sun felt warm enough that I took off my jacket. It's weird seeing your breath without a jacket on.
- It was with great sorrow that we left with like 12:00 to go in the 4th quarter because dang with a parking spot like that you really hate to leave.
