If you can swallow the price, Bose QC35 are the best office headphones in my opinion. They cut out pretty much ALL ambiant noise, and do a suprisingly good job quieting human voice as well. It is almost like sensory deprivation when you put them on. If listening to music with the noise cancelling enabled, I cannot hear anything outside the headphones. Not even people yelling at me 4 feet away. No joke. Can demo them at a big box store like best buy. I've never had much success with cheaper noise cancelling headphones, so if the Bose are outside your price range, might as well just get airpods.

Airpods are awesome if you are on calls, switching between your laptop and your phone, etc.
