Niagara Game
Good team win tonight. All of our guys showed up, mostly in the second half. Not sure how good Niagara is since the season is so young, but it was a good win.

The first half was sloppy and painful. Niagara beat us in transition ALL NIGHT, even on their last possession of the game. When we'd score or they'd rebound, they beat us down the floor a bunch of times. We didn't have any fire or passion in the first half. Haws looked passive and EB looked bad. Hardnet had 3 aggressive drives to the basket in the first half which was nice to see. He didn't have any forced layups like the past couple games. Worthington looked good in the first half and had some nice hooks down low, Yoeli also had some nice looks. We turned the ball over and over again in the first half, a bunch of bad passes, we didn't look good.

The second half our offense was fantastic. At the 14 minute mark we really picked it up and it seems like we held the lead from that point on, although it got close. Haws hit a big 3 and had a great and 1. He started penetrating more and had nice kick out to EB for 3. Then EB took over and started knocking down a couple 3's and hit a bunch of FTs. Worthington had another great hook down low and then opp'd to Yoeli for the and 1 dunk. Child's is solid and put in the effort all night. He makes bad passes at times but he's the key to our offense right now. He's a strong presence down low that spaces the floor for us. Nixon was kind of MIA tonight after a couple great games.

Team seems to play emotionally, seems passive at times and then goes on runs and gets pumped. It would be nice to see Worthington get more minutes and for some drawn up plays for Seljaas. Seems like if Haws can get going and EB and Yoeli keep playing solid, this team can develop into a tourney team.
