A few notes from last nights game

Overall, fun game to watch, maybe a little too fun considering the opponent.  Thankfully the offense picked up in the second half.

- Haws showed multiple ways to score, which will keep defenders guessing: pull up jumpers and quick catch and shoot threes, also thought his drives were for the most part controlled and effecient. I know their are some who love his emotion but personally hope he learns to play a more even keeled game.

- Worthington had a great offensive game, Childs had an excellent second half as well.  Childs and Nixon need to go up like their going to dunk everytime when their within 3ft of basket...way to many blocked shots

- Half court D was ok. I liked the variance in the 1 -3-1, although if Childs is going to play up top need to find a way to rebound.  Transition D awful..

- Too many turnovers and more driving and dishing has been heavily noted...I agree.  Guards need to be aware of where the shooters are immediately after getting by their intial defender, most the time the driver is getting too deep into the bigs and it is too late to make a good pass.

Friday's matchup is our best opportunity to get a signature win in OOC, hopefully we can take advantage.
