Are we on TV, or on better channels at better times than, say BSU? I dare suggest there is little to no difference.

As to opponents, count the number of G5 teams we play in a season now. It is very often 7-9. . . or very close to a conference-schedule's worth. And very often we play the WORST of a conference. On average, our G5 games probably balance out to be, well, average.

In short, I don't see as big of differences in TV appearances or quality of opponents as others do.

That's why I always fall back to revenue. It seems to me like the biggest advantage of Independence. And the only reason I care about revenue is people say you need it to run a competitive football program.
