These changes would guarantee BYU athletic success and prominence
1. $40MM annually in additional funds for the Athletic Department;
2. Relax the requirement that head coaches in the money sports need to be LDS to just be HC compliant;
3. Turn HC enforcement for private matters, not matters of academic or criminal activity, over to the ecclesiastical leaders and take that role away from the HCO.
BYU has enough of a core if these changes were made, BYU would become a prominent athletic program without compromising what it stands for.
Will these things happen? Probably not.
