Yeah, the coaching pool is teeming with successful college head coaches looking for jobs
and wanting to coach at BYU. I hit 3 of them on my way to work this morning.

Howell isn't doing too bad at UVA

He also started as an intern, not position coach or coordinator.

Don't hire coaches coming off of 2-10 seasons.

We could implement our own Rooney rule. At least candidate interviewed is an active LESS member.

Successful, active LDS, D1 or high head coach, willing to take a financial bath.

I'd take Jay Hill. The guys has turned perennial loser Weber into a winner.

I'll wait on Jay Hill until Weber is also a perennial winner. He's not there yet.

I don't think he's saying the rule should be retroactively applied.

Successful HCs are too expensive for BYU. Besides, most top programs don't

Nope. But I would consider a moratorium on BYU alumni as coaches.
