You make a good point. I believe it will fall upon the affluent among us to dig
deep into their pockets to increase the funding of the Coaches Circle commensurate with their desire to keep pace with the coaching salary market.
The BoT is not going to approve multi-million dollar coaching salaries and the Athletic Department profits will be inadequate to do so. And the AD will not be allowed to run in the red.
In short, if our fan base wants to meet market pay to hire top-line experienced coaches, we'll need to look in the mirror and then in our personal bank accounts.
