We played a decent game. Alabama was longer and faster than us. This is the first game where it looked like our guys were interested the whole time. Body language and attitude seemed good the whole game, something that's lacked in previous games.
We rebounded poorly again, and didn't hit our 3s. Hardnet continued to drive hard to the basket and didn't force it too much. He was able to penetrate well and kick the ball out. That was nice to see and something we needed against a more athletic team. Yoeli was great down low in the first half, bangin' around and getting high percentage shots. Worthington was nice to have down low too. Bama's guys were big, strong and athletic, Luke hung around with them.
Seljaas cut it to 8 with a couple minutes left, knocking down 2 big 3's, but our offense could never get a run going. Our defense wasn't bad.
It would be nice to see more out of Haws and Seljaas. Seems like our offense would benefit from them taking more shots. Yoeli and EB seem like they will always produce, but Haws and Seljaas may need to be more aggressive.
