Our offense was absolutely atrocious. It is nearly impossible to overstate how terrible our offense was this year. He needed to go. Imo they would have fired more but they assume the new oc will come in and get rid of much of the other oc staff to put in his own people (fingers crossed).

I also think the defensive side needed some addressing as well and it is a bit upsetting that hasn't seemed to be addressed. Our defense was mediocre at best.

The thing that worries me is that BYU hasn't learned its lesson that we need actual experienced coaches rather than just people with a BYU/LDS background. Hopefully they actually invest in the program and pay for experience rather than save money by hiring for nostalgic/religious reasons.
