I agree with you that some are being a bit overly dramatic.

However,

Its more than just the losing season. There are lots of stories out there that indicate that there are much deeper problems in the football program than just a bad offense. It has a lot of people (me included) that are really concerned.

And it wasn't bad this season. It was embarrasingly bad. Last year 4 losses by 8 total points. We all thought things were headed northward. This year 9 losses, many to teams we should have beaten, and seldom in the losses were we competitive.
