This is as bad as BYU football has been for longer than I have been alive and I am 39. It is cause for worry. My childhood hero Heisman Trophy winning Ty Detmer has been fired after having his name drug through the mud (I'm not saying it was deserved or not). Oh, did I mention that virtually every high profile recruit we have in an average recruiting class this year has de-committed? When was the last time we beat our rival?

There is real cause for concern.
