Here we go...
No plan? How in the world do you have a plan for this mid season when TFD is coaching, every other coach in the country is coaching, and you haven't even finished a season?

Lets all agree that Ty had to be fired. Agree with it or not, lets start from a common point.

What company out there goes behind the back of a current employee to start interviewing for a hire? What kind of example does that send? What does that do to the culture of your company?

BYU already has so many limiting factors that narrows the coaching pool, now you are going to introduce a debilitating business practice of interviewing and searching behind the back of a current coach? How many people want to come to BYU and coach knowing that the AD and HC could be looking for your replacement as you are prepping for a game, out recruiting, or teaching up your boys?

This is a very narrow view. BYU is doing the right thing for the program in the long run. Take your time, vet EVERY candidate out there and find the RIGHT fit.
