Utah won two more games than BYU this year, and BYU almost beat them.
Yet there sure seem to be a lot of posts saying how much better we would be if BYU were willing to to do what Utah does. No honor code, more money for the coach, willing to concede to the requests of the conference to be in the P5 conference...
I would love it if BYU were in a P5 conference and I think it would be great if we could pay our coaches more, but those things don't seem to be creating the huge void in quality that people act like it does.

No. I just think that an overwhelming advantage wouldn't produce the closest games between any two teams in the country.
