What specifically would you do? Interview candidates before announcing that

Ty was demoted and then say "no comment" when it leaks out? Announce which candidates are in the running right now? Tell the world that we've already offered a couple and they turned us down?

Sometimes I think LDS people are overly-worried about PR and what other people might think about us.

And BYU has a top notch PR program. Turn the AD PR over to the Bradley Lab and they'd do a pretty good job. IMO
