I think we saw some modified half-court sets last night. (Might have started at USU, but I couldn't watch.) Haws was moving more without the ball, including moving from one side of the court to the other--and occasionally stopping at the free throw line--depending on the zone defense. He took more catch-and-shoot threes than normal, with good results. They didn't use screens in his motion; he just had to pick his way through the crowd. (I suspect he's just too scrawny to fight his way through screens like his brother did. Maybe next year.) TJ's movement without the ball looked awkward but will probably get smoother with each additional game using this wrinkle.
In the last four minutes, it looked like we were practicing a different half court set. It wasn't real successful, but that may have been because it was new.
