there was a time when the church tried to answer difficult questions...heck, they gave talks and wrote pamphlets on all types of issues...i actually have a collection of many of them. you wouldn't believe the subjects they used to try and tackle. today, for the most part, to their credit, they realize it's not a battle they can win, so they say nothing.
