How were our Sacks, and 3rd Down and 4th Down Conversion pct Defense ? Why did we only generate HALF of the turnovers this year compared to last year? The stats you picked out indicate a mediocre defense. The stats I picked out shows a horrible defense. Bottom line is that the defense wasn't very good and would have had worse stats had the offense been any better. Opposing teams tried to burn clock because they didn't have to worry about us catching up once they got a lead.

My point is just that we were bad on both sides of the ball, and it's disingenuous to only call out the offense (which I'm not defending in any way). We should have been much better on defense given the returning talent we had too.
