Question: You are talking defensive numbers. Is Kalani our D coordinator, or is he our head coach? Where does Tuiaki get credit, or does it just go to Kalani? I understand he has influence over the defensive side of the ball, but, my issues are his shortcomings as a head coach. Overall culture, organization, communication, execution. I've talked with players about a divided locker room. That stuff is the root in my opinion and is more important than anything else.

I think Ty's numbers were atrocious. It's sad. If Tom is going to give Kalani another year, then Kalani had no other choice then to fire Ty. I get that. But, Kalani knows darn well what it's like to have coordinator numbers like Ty, it's not like he hasn't been there, rock bottom. Sometimes you have years like that. I think Ty can succeed with the right staff and situation.
