With the way BYUs SOS is shaping up.... The path to the dance from here
has very little margin for error. I believe that in order to make the dance BYU can only lose 3 more regular season games and if there are 3 losses then byu will have to make it to the finals of the WCC conference to make the dance.
Anything more than 6 losses on selection Sunday means byu will be in the Nit.
I believe there are 8 or 9 more difficult games left on the schedule. Utah, smc x2 zags x2 San Diego x2 (big drop off to SD) + zags/smc in Vegas.
I see almost no path to making the ncaa tournament this season if BYU loses to Utah. It would mean we have zero top 100 wins OOC.
Obviously the odds are not in BYUs favor.... But a win on Saturday would keep the hope alive.
