I'm pretty clueless--okay, very clueless about the whole thing. It looks like there is a ceiling speaker in the master bedroom, a ceiling speaker in the front entry, a ceiling speaker in the kitchen, and five ceiling speakers in the media room. The laundry room has a panel about 4 inches by 4 inches containing 5 strands of wires, with four colored wires within each strand.--
It looks like there is a volume control knob in the master bedroom and in the front entry way--none in the media room.

I have no idea what to do with any of it. Do any of you have suggestions? Or any pointers on how at least to get started? Please dumb it down like you're talking to a fifth grader, because that's about the level I am with this stuff (If even that advanced)
