Like Jamie Lee Curtis - AIS
Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, not a true hermaphrodite.

Intersex, or hermaphrodites, can have XX, XY, XXY or be a mosaic genetically. A true hermaphrodite has both ovarian and testicular tissue. Wrap your mind around that. That's not the case here.

An XX female can have translocation of SRY portion of Y chromosome and have male gender phenotypically (outward appearance).

An XY individual can have normal female genitalia but testes internally, as we see in this poor woman.

She is like Jamie Lee Curtis, purported to have androgen insensitivity syndrome.

Default in embryology is female genitalia. If the sex determining region (SRY) of a Y chromosome is present, and it functions, and androgens are produced, we get male genitalia. If there is no Y chromosome, or it doesn't function as in this case = male parts internally and female externally.

Gender is how someone is raised, which is usually indicative of external genitalia.
