But I honestly don't know a single person here or anywhere that sees BYU's football program in the light you described in the beginning of your post. Maybe I am just naively blind. Sure there are people that think BYU can play a role in the missionary efforts of the Church, but I have yet to meet someone who think BYU Football is a religious program that should be followed with reverence and that is directed by revelation.
