without the name calling and personal attacks. Your wife (if you have one) and mother must be so proud.
Bronco is the 'close but no cigar' coach (bad saying for a BYU coach, I know). He is BYU's version of Ron McBride. I know there are significant differences but here are the similarities.
McBride got Utah winning, going to bowls, winning bowls, getting ranked, competetive in the rivalry, winning several, got kids graduating, cleaned up the program, etc.
Ronnie Mac's best finish was #8 in the nation. Roscoe has yet to achieved that.
I think Bronco's win/loss is very impressive. I also think he is a very good coach. Please don't missinterperate what I say to mean anything else.
He needs to win the big game. Beat the 'good' teams, beat a ranked team, etc. He is consistent at beating teams he should and losing to the good teams. His teams will only occationally beat a good team.
I just don't see a Roscoe team going undefeated. It has only happend once for BYU and that was over a quarter a century ago. It is hard to do, period.
Finally, I also hope the BCS as we know it today, is radically changed. I support a play-off system.
