You can't fairly compare Matt's performance as a freshman PG to freshman performances at other positions. It's kind of like a freshman QB in football, much harder to succeed at that position in a first year. Add to that the pressure and expectations on Matt to fill Jimmer's shoes, and IMO, he's performed tremendously this year and is a reason the future looks bright.
