Obviously, teams won't need an o-lineman running 40's in a game, but a player's 40 time does indicate to a degree his overall athletic ability. They'll have other tests that do this as well so we'll see how they turn out for Reynolds. As I mentioned above, Matt already has one strike against him ... his age. A better showing in these tests would obviously help him don't you think ? Sure there are examples of guys that have been all pro with similar stats, but we're talking pro scouts here. They're the kings of using stats to make decisions.
