The bench press is really an overly used measure, Power Cleans are what is emphasized in my most programs. Reynolds only throwing up 225 25x just tells me he has long arms and his rib cage is flatter instead of barrel chested. The distance a long armed guy has between his chest and the rack has A LOT to do with the number of repetitions an athlete can sustain. Turbin is a great example, he's got short arms and is barrel chested, has a shorter distance between the rack and his chest than someone like Reynolds. Its a flawed metric that most coaches don't really care about. Give me the guy that can clean 400 lbs over any fool that bench his own weight 30x.
Matt has to many intangibles, he may not be a first rounder or a first day pick, but I think he will find a starting spot on a roster once the NFL pro's get their hands on him.
